Thank you, to everyone who joined us at the Walkabout, in London, on Saturday to watch the UEFA Final on the 65" screen. From start to finish there was a fantastic atmosphere. It was such a thrill for us to see people watching glasses-free 3D in a real-life environment. For those of you who came down we really hoped you enjoyed being one of the first in the world to enjoy a live football match on Live 3D TV Without Glasses.
As such, we would also like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who gave or left feedback. We had a great response.
Tom from London described the screen as "amazing technology" while Iranian born Barcelona supporter Barbet couldn't quite believe he was one of the first to experience no glasses 3D describing it as 'so much better than having to watch 3D with glasses.' Meanwhile Manchester United fan, Sarah said she loved the fact it didn't give her a headache and wanted to know when it was going on sale.
Commenting on the night iPONT UK Director Matthew Young added: "The night was a great success. At The Walkabout we've demonstrated that it's possible to deliver an enjoyable immersive entertainment experience. The technology is maturing and our own solution is evolving to what will be a perfect experience. Despite the viewing improvement provided by the technology, Manchester United supporters have been inconsolable but a few have told us that seeing it this way has just been incredible."
Finally, a big thank you to the Walkabout, Covent Garden for their hospitality and providing a great venue.
